The visit of Winfried Kretschmann, Minister-President of Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg, and Urs Hofmann, Member of the Governing Council of the Canton of Aargau, to the high-tech company SWD AG was a real highlight.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

The visit to SWD AG focused on the topics of promoting innovation, digitalization, and Industry 4.0. SWD AG was selected as the model company for this purpose. The high-caliber visitors went on a journey through SWD AG\u2019s beginnings as a contract manufacturer to the present day as a technology company and into the future of decentralized production. In addition to the benefits of new stacking technologies such as bonding, new technologies and business models were also discussed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

As announced, the Minister-President visited SWD AG on June 22, 2018. It was a fantastic occasion with other high-caliber visitors and an exciting panel discussion on the topics of promoting innovation, digitalization, and Industry 4.0. Our production solution BPS\u00ae<\/a> attracted a great deal of interest and was described as a pioneering production concept and business model.<\/p>\n

The fully automatic BPS\u00ae <\/a>production process ensures maximum efficiency and product quality. Generating and archiving production data and digital twins guarantees maximum traceability, which could not be achieved with any process for lamination stacks. Complemented with maximum material utilization, the BPS\u00ae<\/a> process is a very important technology for the future of electromobility.<\/p>\n

SWD AG\u2019s digitalization projects which greatly reduce administration work were also met with great interest. The fully automated and seamless archiving of order data, the complete and order-specific time recording, and the monitoring of the availability of production facilities are also worth mentioning.<\/p>\n
